Forum Life

We are adjusting the forum format so that your comments are published immediately. For those of you wondering why your comments were not publishing it seems your comments were being deposited into a commentary "purgatory" awaiting approval by me.
I have released the mandatory edit, so your comments should come fast and furiously now!

a request, not a glitch

Could we have a forum for those of us who want to share poetry and prose we have written either directly or indirectly about IFS? I am thinking of personal creative writing, not professional writing, which already has a forum.

Thanks!

Yes! To Poetry!

Hi Emily, yes I will add a poetry link-sounds wonderful!

You can bring a horse to water, but....

In an ongoing effort to mold the contours of this forum to better reflect the members of the forum, I have shuffled a few titles around.
When we originally composed the forum topics list, we thought of ways in which the forum would be able to help newcomers to IFS, both clients and practitioners to be able to better understand the use of IFS in solving critical issues like trauma and abuse, eating disorders, depression and so on.
What we have observed however is that other discussions have emerged with passion that we would not have predicted.

It is our hope to have your voices flesh this forum out in some of the more empty categories. We hope you share some of your most poignant experiences here with IFS to give others hope in dealing with their own issues.

Forum writing is meant to be brief. Brief in the IFS sense of the word means about 5 paragraphs at the most.
