From Nitsan to the IFS Community

A World Healing Brigade

“...peace comes by following three paths. The first is to make peace with ourselves- all of ourselves. The second is to make peace in ourselves with the significant people in our lives. The third is to find our own experience of Peace with a capital P.” -- The Courage for Peace by Louise Diamond

Dear IFS Community,
I am now back in Israel and would like to thank you again for your incredible generosity!!! This Friday will be the next IFS training for Jewish and Arab Palestinian women and I can hardly wait to share the wonderful news. After the meeting I will write about the response and other stories.
Also in the last two weeks I have been going through a difficult period and two of the things that have been most helpful are my incredible friends and IFS. Thank you!!!
Finally at the IFS conference surrounded by so many wonderful, open hearted, generous healers, I had an idea --- a world healing brigade.
The United States of America even with the economic crisis is still the wealthiest country in the world. To obtain and maintain this quality of life, we (I am also a US citizen) have often exploited the people and resources of other countries sometimes causing suffering, anger and unrest which lead to violence.
Yet the wealth and resources have also enabled citizens of the USA to explore and develop leading edge healing practices and world changing ideas.
I would like to use this forum as an opportunity to invite the IFS healers I have met and have yet to meet to join together and form a World Healing Brigade. This brigade will include all those who are interested in finding their own experience of Peace with a capital P anywhere in the world.
Please send me your thoughts and ideas.
Much love,
Nitsan

Re: From Nitsan to the IFS Community

Dear Nitsan,

It was a pleasure meeting you at the IFS conference. I am in awe of your efforts and am proud to be a part of the IFS community that is contributing to your success. I am a professor and Director of a Marriage and Family Therapy program in Connecticut, and have been telling all of my students (who are all conversant in IFS) about the amazing work that you and your colleagues are doing to heal cultural burdens in the center of world polarization.

Thank you for your courage and efforts.

Bringing you love and light,
Ralph Cohen, Ph.D.
