Imagine yourself leaving winter
behind to join us in this workshop experience in the magical land of the ancient Mayans.
We will gather for seven days in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico where the pyramids rise over dense and misty jungle and sea breezes stir the tropical air over hundreds of miles of white sand beaches.
Maya Tulum is a retreat center south of Cancun near the Mayan ruins of Tulum. This peaceful seaside resort is bordered by the 1.3 million acre Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve, home to hundreds of exotic plant and animal species. This unspoiled paradise will welcome you with sunny skies, cool starry nights, and delicious vegetarian cuisine. At Maya Tulum, bottled pure water is used in cooking and in cabanas.
You will sleep in beautiful cabanas with tile floors and thatched roofs in comfortable beds draped with diaphanous netting. There will be 5-6 hours of workshop time per day and ample time to relax, sun, swim among schools of tropical fish, and walk The miles of white sand beaches. Excursions are available to nearby Mayan temples, pyramids, and freshwater jungle pools.
