| Dorothy Hanson, MA, LMHC is an Internal Family Therapist and Lead Trainer for The Center for Self Leadership. She designed sub-model for the model using the concept of S.C.U.B.A. diving to assist therapists in completed a session safely under time contraints. She has been a therapist for 14 years working with individuals, couples and families. The past 10 have been in private practice in Edgewood, Washington where she is the owner of Edgewood Counseling and Wellness Center. She specializes in trauma recovery with the majority of her work involving combat Veterans and their family members. She embraces the whole person wellness philosophy and incorporates exercise, nutrition, and meditation into her work whenever possible. She loves anything to do with the outdoors and balances her work with hiking, skiing, tennis, running and camping with her family. |  |
