As we continue to grow to meet the increased demand for our educational programs, we are excited to highlight some of the people making our growth possible. We’re currently recruiting for 2 new positions in our operations department - Community Access Manager and Central Operations Manager.     

We're also thrilled to announce that members of our Operations Team are moving into the following roles, some of them similar to their current roles, but with new titles;

We're also delighted that we have welcomed a wonderful group of new hires starting with us in November. Please join us in welcoming Julio, Maria, Phillip and Shelia! 

Julio Sanchez-Mascaraque, International Talent Specialist: With a Bachelor's in Law, Julio comes to us with over 8 years of experience int the IFS community.  Julio is Level 1, 2 and 3 trained and has served as a Zoom Tech in our online trainings in Spain.  He has experience working with global organizations and worked for the Institute of Nonviolent Communication and IFS Madrid Institute for almost a decade.  Julio also graduated from the Drama school for actors in Spain.  The acting has allowed him to delve into personal knowledge.   He has been organizing trainings for actors in Spain for the development of new techniques from other parts of the world that are little known in Spain.  Julio is based in Madrid, Spain.  Languages: Spanish, English and Portuguese. 

Maria Hidalgo, Talent Management Coordinator: Maria has more than 14 years in customer service, and HR roles.  She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and resides in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Maria enjoys journal scrapbooking, and planning events such as baby showers for friends and family.  Maria has experience with full-cycle recruiting, employee onboarding, various HRIS platforms and has been a partner for payroll in previous roles.  She is motivated, responsible and her experience working successfully as part of a team will assist in the TM Department continuing to provide great customer service to the trainer community and IFS staff.  Maria is fluent in Spanish and English. 

Phillip Hall, Fractional CFO: Phillip has joined IFS as our Fractional CFO and will be working with IFSI about one day a week.  Phillip has over 20 years of success improving financial operations for mission-driven organizations and is thrilled to be adding his skills to the IFSI team.  Phillip works with financial systems and reporting here at IFSI and will work with Mary and Leslie to help scale our processes and also start to develop more robust financial reporting processes as we grown. Phillip is based in Evanston and in his off-time, he enjoys tai-chi, yoga, and long walks with friends. 

Shelia Oswald, Customer Success Manager: With a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Special Education, Shelia spent just under a decade in the classroom and serving in various committee and group roles as well as publishing the school’s yearbook and quarterly newsletter. Shelia has also worked in marketing, advertising, and the pageant office for Hawaiian Tropic, as an event planner for an international nonprofit organization, most recently in operations for the insurance company Burns & Wilcox, and in a multitude of customer service positions from Amazon to waiting tables throughout the years. Regardless of the industry, Shelia’s favorite part of each role was the people she met along the way. In her down time, Shelia can be found working on DIY home projects, spending time in her craft and spa rooms, learning foreign languages, reading and rereading books, and meeting the demanding requests of her beloved cat, Tiger. Shelia used to be on the Palm Coast roller derby team and has traded in her roller skates for an oar and is currently dipping her toe in the waters of the local rowing team.
